Workers and Peasants Vow to Implement New Year Tasks

Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- Members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) and other workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) and other peasants held meetings at Pyongyang Electric Cable Factory 326 and in Unpha County, North Hwanghae Province Monday to vow to carry through the tasks set forth by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

Reporters and speakers at the meetings stressed that the New Year Address of Kim Jong Un serves as a militant banner arousing the entire country to new miracles and feats in implementing the decision of the Seventh Congress of the Worker's Party of Korea by giving full play to the might of single-minded unity and the strength of self-development.

They called for vigorous advance under the grandiose plan for building a powerful socialist country unfolded at the Seventh WPK Congress, in hearty response to the New Year Address of Kim Jong Un.
