Its inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on Dec. 30 last year.

The flags of the DPRK and Russia were hoisted and the signboard bearing names of the two countries displayed at the ceremony.

Present there were personages of the Kamchatka Territory Administration and a Kamchatka construction company, popular masses and the DPRK consul general in Vladivostok and officials concerned.

The general manager of the construction company said that he was pleased to see the water park completed and sincerely thanked the Korean builders for their great efforts. The water park, a symbol of friendship between Russia and the DPRK, will actively contribute to the well-being of the people, he added.

A letter to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the ceremony.
