The factory puts the production of some 500 standards of pumps on a normal foot at a high level.

Last year, it manufactured 800 more pumps than planned.

It increased the production of pumps by more than two times in the 200-day campaign as compared with the same period of the previous year, winning the honor of model unit. After reconstructing the casting process and developing centrifugal pump, the factory made high-head pumps with domestic raw materials.

It sent tens of kinds of new pumps to the construction sites of apartments in Ryomyong Street, underground ultra-saline water producers, long-range seawater pipeline and other projects, proving in practice the validity of the spirit of self-development first.

The workers of the factory are filled with zeal to produce many pumps and send them to major sectors of the national economy this year, in hearty response to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's New Year Address.
