New Wand Made in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- The Athletic Apparatus Institute under the Academy of Sports Science in the DPRK has made new wand.

The wand consists of 25 foamed plastics and wooden fixed frame.

It is unaffected by natural condition and its life is more than twice as compared with the previous one.

Producer Kim U, section chief of the institute, told KCNA that it is much lighter than the previous one and entails lower cost.

The wand enjoys popularity among coaches and archers.

It was highly appreciated at the 20th National Exhibition of Sports Scientific and Technological Achievements.
