Rodong Sinmun Urges U.S. to Roll back Its Anti-DPRK Policy
Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- The Koreans have waged a relentless struggle for national unity and the reunification of the country since it was divided into the north and the south, but they have not yet achieved them owing to the U.S. anti-reunification moves, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in an article.

The article cites facts to prove that the U.S. has fanned up and escalated the confrontation between the north and the south by pursuing its national estrangement policy and gone so reckless as to try hard to stifle the DPRK and realize its ambition for invading it by using the south Korean puppet forces as a shock brigade.

It goes on:

If the U.S. had not blocked national reunification, interfering in the internal affair of the Koreans, they would have attained their long-cherished desire for reunification long ago.

It is the unshakable will of the Koreans to put a definite end to the U.S. criminal acts of barring them from independently carving out their destiny by going against their desire for reunification.

The U.S. should properly understand the will of the Korean nation to reunify its country, stop whipping up national estrangement by driving the anti-reunification forces in south Korea into confrontation with the fellow countrymen and war and make a courageous decision to drop its anachronistic hostile policy towards the DPRK.

The U.S. acts of persistently working to isolate and stifle the DPRK, opposed to the unity and reunification of the Korean nation, would do it nothing good.
