Repeal of "Security Law" Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- The emergency council of teaching researchers of south Korea, grouping 11 organizations including the Council of Professors for Democracy, called a press conference in Seoul on Jan. 12, demanding the repeal of the "Security Law".

Noting that the security authorities arrested the representative of the "Worker's Book" on the charge of "selling enemy-benefiting literature", speakers at the conference condemned this as a fascist suppression by Hwang Kyo An to save the conservative forces from the crisis.

They contented that the SL should be abrogated as it is used to trample down freedom of learning, ideology, conscience and the press.
