Rodong Sinmun Warns Those Challenging DPRK of Severe Punishment

Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet military in the recent "2017 working plan for the Ministry of Defense" asserted the need to finish the formation of a special brigade for "removing the war command of the north" within this year, two years earlier than scheduled. It also disclosed that the brigade would have 1 000-2 000 service members and operatives of the U.S. SOF would participate in brigade's operation and it would be carried out by various forms and methods for "eliminating the war command of the north" with special aircraft, submarines and other latest equipment involved.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a commentary in this regard:

Lurking behind the warmongers' stepped-up moves to wind up the formation of the above-said brigade is a cynical ploy to paint the DPRK's sincere efforts as "camouflaged peace offensive" and divert elsewhere the public attention focused on the impeachment of Park Geun Hye.

Their formation of such brigade is, in fact, an undisguised war declaration against the DPRK.

Those who dare challenge the supreme headquarters of the DPRK will not be able to escape a merciless punishment.

The special brigade will be a primary target of the DPRK's ultra-precision strike means and those who mapped out the formation and involved in it will be wiped out before any others.

The south Korean puppet forces should clearly understand unimaginable punishment of the DPRK's service personnel and people and stop going reckless.

The puppet forces' early formation of the special brigade is now under way at the prodding of the Obama group.

The U.S. rash action would only prompt the DPRK to facilitate the process of bolstering up its nuclear force at a high level.
