Earlier, the puppet military warmongers let units on the front stage separate live-shell firing drills of artillery pieces allegedly to annihilate someone, reeking off the smell of powder for invading the north.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Tuesday terms this a blatant challenge to the DPRK's magnanimous proposal for taking active steps for defusing acute military conflict and the danger of war between the north and the south.

It is the consistent stand of the DPRK that fellow countrymen should not fight each other but safeguard well-being of the nation and preserve peace of the country. This is also the unanimous desire of all the Koreans strongly aspiring after the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

The puppet warmongers, however, are resorting to frantic saber-rattling from the outset of the year in defiance of the sincere call of the DPRK and the demand of the times. This clearly proves before the world who is an arch criminal harassing peace on the Korean peninsula and escalating regional situation.

If the south Korean puppet forces keep challenging the sincere efforts made by the DPRK to open up a new chapter for the improvement of the north-south relations and the movement for national reunification, that will inevitably spark off a military conflict and war.

It is only the Korean nation which will sustain the biggest calamity and it is outsiders who will fish in the troubled waters.

The puppet military warmongers have to come to their senses and stop running wild.
