False Nature of "Ulsa Five-point Treaty" Disclosed by S. Korean Media
Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- It has been disclosed in succession that the Japanese imperialists fabricated "Ulsa Five-point Treaty" in a deceptive and brigandish manner in order to usurp the sovereignty of Korea, according to south Korean media on Monday.

An honorary professor at Seoul National University studied the Japanese imperialists' invasion of Korea and related data and made public his findings recently.

He began studying the case since 1992 when he found a point at issue in the "treaty".

He looked into the original copy of the "treaty." His study resulted in drawing the conclusion that the "treaty" had neither any ratification by the then Korean Emperor nor carried its title. It was also revealed that the original copy of the Korean version was also written by the Japanese side.

Another professor at Seoul National University, based on credentials and personal letters the Emperor forwarded to an American missionary and to heads of state of other countries at that time, confirmed that the "treaty" was coercively made up and was not approved by the emperor.

The coercive nature of the "treaty" was also revealed through a report made by Hasegawa, commander of the Japanese imperialist forces in Korea at that time.

All this proves that the Japanese imperialists employed the most vicious means and coercive methods to cook up the "treaty" in order to deprive Korea of its sovereignty.
