1. We will hold colorful events praising the great persons of Mt. Paektu in regions and countries to display boundless reverence of the world progressives for them who made undying contributions to achieving global independence.

All the preparatory committees in the Asia-Pacific region significantly started celebration activities this year and they will present valuable gifts, floral baskets, congratulatory messages and letters to the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu in humble reverence for them and hold multifarious events such as meetings, seminars, film shows and lectures on the Day of the Sun, the Day of Shining Star and other occasions.

In particular, we will hold a regional internet seminar on their greatness and undying feats at the highest level in April in which fall the 105th birth anniversary of HE President Kim Il Sung and the 24th anniversary of the election of HE Kim Jong Il as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the fifth anniversary of the election of HE Kim Jong Un to the top posts of the Party and state of the DPRK.

And we will actively conduct writing and publishing of books and literary works praising the ideas, leadership and noble virtues of the great persons of Mt. Paektu and introducing the reality of the DPRK.

2. We will dynamically wage solidarity activities in support of the just cause of the Korean people who are vigorously pushing forward the building of a reunified power true to the line for Korea's reunification set forth by the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu.

The Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee and all preparatory committees in the region will widely introduce the immortal exploits the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu performed for achieving the independent reunification of Korea this year marking the 45th anniversary of the publication of the July 4 joint statement and the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the October 4 declaration.

We will positively conduct activities supporting the just cause of the Korean people for building a reunified prosperous powerful country, upholding the fair an aboveboard line for national reunification put forward by the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu despite all challenges and ordeals of history.

The Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee in close liaison with the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea will make contributions to building the international public opinion about the urgency of Korea's reunification by releasing statements demanding the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea and replacing the Armistice Agreement by a peace treaty and ensuring peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the region.

3. We will make contributions to grandly holding the Fifth International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu as a grand international gathering.

The Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee, country-by-country preparatory committees, organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and individual personages will take an active part in the work for erecting the monument praising the great persons of Mt Paektu as declared in the press statement of the International Preparatory Committee.

All the preparatory committees in the region will send their delegations to the Fifth International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu to be held in August and make contributions to the successful festival by raising voices of boundless reverence and praise for them.

The Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee fully supports once again the appeal and press statement of the International Preparatory Committee and will give further momentum to the drive for praising the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu in close liaison with the preparatory committees in all regions and countries of the world.
