They expressed concern that new military base can come into being without consent of citizens and "National Assembly".

They demanded that the NA stop the defence ministry's illegal act.

On the same day, the Songju action committee for the withdrawal of deployment of THAAD and other organizations held a candlelight rally outside the building of the Minju Party, urging the Party to adopt the withdrawal of THAAD deployment plan as its policy.
