The Central Committee of the Communist Party "Russian Communists" said in its statement:

We learn a lot from the New Year Address of Kim Jong Un, which serves as a great inspiring banner for us.

Kim Jong Un reviewed the achievements made in the DPRK last year and clearly set forth the tasks for this year to implement the decision of the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

He indicated the main orientation for the country's economic development and bolstering up its military muscle and the important matters in improving the inter-Korean relations and ensuring peace and security on the Korean peninsula.

We are pleased that eye-opening successes have been made in succession in the DPRK under his leadership.

The Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK said in it statement:

Last year great vitality of the Juche idea, the Songun idea was displayed once again in the DPRK.

And big advance was made in building a socialist power and improvement was brought about in material and cultural living standard of people.

The achievements made by the DPRK in socialist construction aroused interest of the international community and instilled courage into the peoples of different countries desirous of building a new society.

The Korean people will successfully carry out the tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

We will as ever strive to strengthen the traditional relations of friendship between Russia and the DPRK.
