Intelligent Trouble Diagnosis System Developed in DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- Scientists of the Mechanical Institute of the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK recently developed and introduced into practice an intelligent trouble diagnosis system for generator, which is needed for keeping electric-power production going at a high rate. The system helps confirm characteristics, kinds, dangerous degree, cause and part of troubles in turbine generators of hydraulic and thermal power stations and estimate trouble occurrence and its tendency in advance. The system also helps take in time measures for scientific repair including balancing and the change of accessories. It can be applicable to all the rotary machines, including electric motors, blowers, exhausters and compressors. |
