Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Ethiopia

| Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was inaugurated in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on January 11. Nigatu Dagnachew Cherinet, co-chairman of the African Regional Preparatory Committee for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt Paektu, was elected chairman of the above-said preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, his birth anniversary. |
