Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- Mexican party and organizations made public a joint statement on January 13 in support of the New Year Address of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. They are the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, Mexican Friend Association for Memory of President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il, Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, Mexican Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification and the Mexico-Korea Friendship Association. The statement noted that Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address advanced the tasks and ways for concentrating all efforts on the implementation of the five-year strategy for national economic development and an important line for improving the inter-Korean relations and achieving peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula. He declared that the DPRK would continue to build up its capabilities for self-defence, the core of which is the nuclear force, and the capability for preemptive strike as long as the U.S. and its vassal forces keep on nuclear threat and blackmail and war games at the doorstep of the DPRK under the veil of annual ones, the statement said, adding: This is a declaration that deals a telling blow to the U.S. imperialists and gives confidence and courage to the world progressives aspiring after independence. We will extend full support and solidarity to the struggle of the Korean people for opening up a broad avenue to independent reunification this year marking the 45th anniversary of the historic July 4 joint statement and the 10th anniversary of the October 4 declaration. We call upon the world progressives desirous of independence and justice to reject the U.S. and its vassal forces' persistent moves to stifle the DPRK and "human rights" rackets and send support and solidarity to the Korean people's just struggle for the country's sovereignty and the nation's right to existence. |
