Rodong Sinmun Blasts S. Korean Warmongers' Reckless Muscle-flexing
Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- The south Korean warmongers have been staging a madcap mid-winter tactical exercise since Jan 16, vociferating about "nuclear threat from the north" and "ignition of a local war". Shortly ago, the puppet defence affairs agency announced a plan to purchase modern war means including dozens of helicopters for naval operation from abroad, crying out for bolstering up "capability to take emergency counteraction" to cope with the "north's threat of submarine-launched ballistic missile."

Commenting on such moves, Rodong Sinmun Saturday says:

The puppet military of south Korea has become desperate in its saber-rattling and arms buildup against the DPRK at a time when such war-like outbursts as "building security force" and "reacting to provocation" are openly heard from among the puppet authorities, the moves that can never be overlooked.

This is a dangerous adventure escalating tension on the Korean peninsula and pushing the situation close to a war and a deliberate provocation to kick up war hysteria against the DPRK and stir up "the security crisis" in a bid to provide a way-out to the regime of traitors.

It is little short of leveling guns at the fellow countrymen earnestly wishing for peace and reunification of the country.

One's ulterior purpose is clear from one's start. The puppet warmongers' moves aimed at military provocation targeting the fellow countrymen from the beginning of the year fully discloses their criminal scenario to disturb the whole year with saber-rattling for a war of aggression against the DPRK.

If the puppet group persistently pursues its scenario for a war against the DPRK while challenging the nation's sincere efforts for improving the north-south relations and defusing the danger of a war, the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK will push the war maniacs to the abyss of ruin and bring about a bright dawn of national reunification.
