The permanent secretary of the Niger State government of Nigeria said:

HE Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address called for opening up a broad avenue to independent reunification by concerted effort of all Koreans this year marking the 45th anniversary of the historic July 4 joint statement and the 10th anniversary of the October 4 declaration.

He stressed the need to take positive measures to improve the inter-Korean relations and remove the acute military conflict and war danger between the north and the south.

We hope that the Korean people will make big stride in the struggle for national reunification under his wise guidance.

The chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Juche Philosophy and other speakers expressed the full support for the proposals for Korea's reunification advanced by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

The chairman of the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia said that Kim Jong Un's New Year Address gives great strength and courage to them.
