Kim Jong Un's New Year Address Hailed in Uganda, Austria
Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- Personages of Uganda and Austria made public statements in support of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's New Year Address on January 4 and 6.

The chairman of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement said:

In his New Year Address HE Kim Jong Un reviewed the great achievements made by the Korean people last year and set forth new tasks for bringing about rosier future under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism this year.

We, friends of the DPRK, could well know, through the New Year Address, about his noble intention to establish the revolutionary discipline of devotedly serving the people within the Workers' Party of Korea.

The UN sanctions against the DPRK and evermore growing military tension on the Korean peninsula cause serious concern of the peace-loving people of the world.

HE Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address declared the aboveboard stand on the peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula.

The U.S. should drop its hostile policy toward the DPRK.

We call upon peoples of the countries desirous of independence to extend firm solidarity to the just cause of the Korean people.

Heinrich Gruber, member of the leadership of the Vienna, 21 County Committee of the Communist Party of Austria, said that Korea's reunification is the most urgent, vital and greatest task for the Korean nation. It is the basic condition for Korea's reunification to prevent war danger and ensure peace and stability on the Korean peninsula, he noted.

He demanded that the U.S. and south Korea stop the dangerous war drills against the DPRK being staged every year.
