The Political Executive Committee of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia said that it was deeply studying Kim Jong Un's New Year Address.

It noted that last year the DPRK invariably adhered to the socialist line of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. It went on:

The Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea marked a historic occasion in the struggle of the Korean people for building socialism, developing economy and bolstering up the defense capabilities.

The DPRK made miracles and innovations in all sectors of the national economy and the militant might of the Korean People's Army increased in every way despite the imperialists' persistent moves to block the advance of socialism.

We support the socialist line of the DPRK and believe that the Korean people will successfully implement the tasks set forth by Comrade Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

The Guinean Society for the Study of the Juche Literary Idea fully supported Kim Jong Un's New Year Address, adding:

We urge the south Korean authorities not to aggravate the situation, finding fault with the DPRK's exercise of the right to self-defence, but to respond to its sincere efforts for preventing military conflict between the north and the south and removing the danger of war and discontinue arms buildup and war drills.

Well aware of the will of the Korean nation to reunify its country, the United States must no longer cling to the scheme of whipping up national estrangement by inciting the anti-reunification forces in south Korea to confrontation with the fellow countrymen and to war. It must make a courageous decision to roll back its anachronistic policy hostile towards the DPRK.

We are convinced that the whole Korean nation will open up a broad avenue to independent reunification through its concerted effort this year marking the 45th anniversary of the historic July 4 joint statement and the 10th anniversary of the October 4 declaration.
