S. Korean Organizations Demand NA Opt to Check THAAD Deployment

| Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- The Songju Committee for Struggle against THAAD Deployment, the Kimchon Citizens Measure Committee against THAAD Deployment and the Songju Emergency Measure Committee for Defending Holy Land of Won Buddhism reportedly held a press conference on Jan. 20 and slammed the puppet National Assembly for turning blind eyes to the move for the THAAD deployment. The organizations said that the people urged the opposition parties to adopt the opposition to THAAD deployment as their party stand, check the forcible promotion of the deployment and urgently form a special committee for it at the NA. However, the opposition parties did nothing to this end, the organizations noted. The organizations demanded the NA opt to take a practical action to halt the regime's politics of not seeking people's understanding. |
