The institute conceived a process of producing grass thread on the basis of extrusion drawing and heat treatment method and settled sci-tech problems arising in providing an optimum processing condition for grass thread production.

It also succeeded in developing a combined control system by putting all the production processes on a streamlined basis.

According to Rim Chang Ho, director of the institute, the synthetic grass is equal to natural grass in the elastic modulus of balls and its technical indices reach the quality standard set by the FIFA.
