Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Myanmar

| Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- A Myanmar preparatory committee for celebrating the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was formed at the building of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar on Jan. 18. The list of members of the preparatory committee with Tha Win, secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Party, as its chairman announced at its inaugural ceremony. The preparatory committee drew up an action plan for organizing colorful political and cultural events on the anniversary. |
