Not content with the education in worship and flunkeyism towards America and the anti-communist education they have enforced so far, the puppet forces seek to include in the contents of the above-said education the sophism that the "alliance" with the U.S. played a "key role" in south Korea and it should be further strengthened to cope with the "north's nuclear and missile threat".

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a commentary in this regard:

This is a cynical ploy of the puppet regime to implant illusion about the U.S. and the consciousness of blindly following it in the minds of south Koreans and fan up the confrontation with the compatriots in the north in a bid to cover up their thrice-cursed crimes committed against the nation through sycophancy and treachery and prolong their dirty remaining days.

The south Korean regime is no more than a puppet one incapable of exercising even elementary sovereignty and its politics is only designed to carry out the U.S. hostile policy for invading the DPRK.

The robber-like U.S. is keen on carrying out its strategy for dominating Asia-Pacific, driving the south Korean puppet regime like a slave prolonging its remaining days by clinging to the sleeves of the U.S.

It is none other than the U.S. which is escalating the confrontation between the north and the south and disturbing peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia, persistently standing in the way of national reunification, the cherished desire of the Koreans.

No matter what rhetoric the south Korean puppet regime may let out to benumb the south Korean people's consciousness of independence against the U.S., misrepresenting this hard reality and advocating "love for the country" and the like, it can never stem the trend of the times towards independence and reunification.
