Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Thailand

| Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- A Thai preparatory committee for celebrating leader Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 16. Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, was elected chairman of the committee. The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events praising Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits. |
