The statement said:

We extend full support to Marshal Kim Jong Un's New Year Address.

Last year the army and people of the DPRK made admirable achievements in various fields, despite of bad conditions, under his guidance.

Kim Jong Un set forth the tasks for putting the country's overall economy on a higher stage and called for bringing about a fresh upsurge in all fronts of culture.

He said that the DPRK would remain committed to the idea of its foreign policy of independence, peace and friendship and expand and develop the relations of good-neighborliness, friendship and cooperation with those countries championing independence.

We are rejoiced over the fact that the army and people of the DPRK are making a great advance in the struggle to implement the decision made at the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, united close around their leader.
