The factory is a treasure factory capable of producing over 242 000 school bags and 60 000 ordinary bags a year with locally available raw and other materials.

It has sample room, cutting shop, sewing shop, packing shop, sci-tech knowledge dissemination room, combined control room, technical preparation room, designing room and others.

It is furnished with home-made modern equipment including laser cutter at all production processes ranging from cutting to sewing, printing, dyeing and finishing.

The designing room is conducting a campaign of technology and brains for putting spurs to the production of school bags for boys and girls of primary schools, junior and senior middle schools and universities and other bags and making the goods of the factory popular.

The school bags produced by the factory are popular among the users for their different shapes and colors meeting the tastes of students.

According to an official concerned, respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un personally initiated the building of the factory, guided its layout and solved problems arising in its construction, saying that it is the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to provide the children and people with locally made good-quality and attractive bags.

Going round the factory which has launched its production campaign in the new year, Kim Jong Un expressed belief that the employees of the factory would creditably perform their duties by devoting themselves to the bag production in the spirit of making bags for their children.
