Pu Yong Uk, chairman of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, expressed full support, on behalf of all Chongryon officials and other compatriots in Osaka, for the call of the joint conference that reflected all Koreans' fixed will to carry through the task for national reunification set forth by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address and thus glorify this year as a significant year in opening up a new phase of independent reunification.

Ri Thae Hyong, chairman of the Hiroshima Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, said that the appeal reflected the issues arising in opening up a broad avenue to independent reunification through concerted effort of the Korean nation by giving full play to the Korean nation's enormous power and strong will for reunification.

Ri Ju Hak, chairman of the Fukuoka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, noted that when the July 4 joint statement, the first reunification program common to the nation reflective of the three principles of national reunification since national division, was made public, officials of Chongryon and other Koreans in Japan felt firm confidence in national reunification.

He expressed the will to turn out in the nationwide drive for national reunification with the consciousness of being the master of reunification and fully discharge the mission and duty of the Korean nation.
