Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Peru

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A Peruvian preparatory committee for celebrating the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was formed in Lima on Jan. 17. Tani Baler Lopera, international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland) who is chairman of the Peruvian preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt Paektu, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events such as meeting, seminar and film show on the anniversary. |
