Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Slovenia

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A Slovenian preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, was formed in Maribor City on Jan. 21. Igor Jurisic, chairman of the Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to set a celebration period from Jan. 21 to Apr. 18 and hold political and cultural events such as seminar and lecture praising the exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the period. |
