The editorial laid bare the facts that the Park clique called a number of additional witnesses to the 8th open proceedings on Jan. 23 in a bid to postpone the passage of the bill of impeachment at the "constitutional court".

It would take 2 or 3 weeks to question those witnesses, reflective of an attempt to prolong the said passage, the editorial said, adding:

The reason behind Park's struggling to gain time is that if the bill of her impeachment passes before the end of the special inspection, forcible investigation into her may get full swing to make her indictment possible.

Park is driving society into terrible turmoil to save her life now.

The "constitutional court" should urgently pass the bill, not tolerating the moves of Park.
