Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- A Romanian preparatory committee for celebrating the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was formed on Jan. 19. Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the New Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to set a celebration period from Jan. 20 to Feb. 16 and introduce Kim Jong Il's works through media and organize such political and cultural events as seminar and meeting praising his exploits in the period. |
