Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Libya

| Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- A Libyan preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, was formed on January 24. The chairman of the Libya-DPRK Friendship Association was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events such as seminar, film show and book exhibition to praise the exploits performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on these anniversaries. |
