Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Tanzania

Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- A Tanzanian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was formed in Dar es Salaam on January 21.

Francis F. Lyimo, chairman of the Tanzanian National Coordinating Committee of the Juche Idea Study Groups, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits performed by Kim Jong Il in the period from January 21 to February 16.
