Devotion for Tree-Planting
Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- There are a number of people dedicating themselves to tree planting in the DPRK.

Han Nam Hyok, a forest ranger of the Anbyon County Forestry Management Station in Kangwon Province, has produced more than 170,000 saplings with his family every year.

Kim Ju Chol, a forest ranger of the Thaethan County Forestry Management Station in South Hwanghae Province, has had a care of over 1,000 hectares of forest for more than 10 years.

His family planted chestnut trees in 10-odd hectares and created habitat for wildlife by building over 500 nests and laying thousands of salt pouches.

Ri Jong Hui, a forest ranger of the Thaethan County Forestry Management Station in South Hwanghae Province, set up a tree nursery to have produced hundreds of thousands of saplings.

Housewives in Hakchon-ri, Kangso District of Nampho City, have planted trees in 50 hectares.

Among those devoting themselves to forestation are So Sung Won, a forest ranger of the Kapsan County Forestry Management Station in Ryanggang Province, and his family and Pak Kyong Nam, a forest ranger of Pongsan County Forestry Management Station in North Hwanghae Province, and his brothers and sisters.
