Birth Anniversaries of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 105th birth anniversary (Day of the Sun) of President Kim Il Sung and the 75th birth anniversary (Day of the Shining Star) of leader Kim Jong Il was formed in Russia on January 23 with due ceremony. Vadim Kudimin, director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold various political and cultural events praising the exploits of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu on the occasions of the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star. |
