Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A Romanian national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) of leader Kim Jong Il was formed at the Socialist Party of Romania on January 20. Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from January 25 to February 16 and decided to organize a joint seminar, a meeting, a film show and other political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il. |
