Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Germany

| Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- The preparatory committee of the Communist Party of Germany for celebrating the birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) of leader Kim Jong Il was formed on January 23. Torsten Schoevitz, chairman of the Communist Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from January 23 to February 16 and decided to organize a seminar, a meeting, round-table talks and other political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il in the period. |
