At the meeting the Syrian ambassador conveyed the letter sent to Choe Thae Bok by Hadiyeh Abbas, president of the People's Assembly of Syria, expressing deep thanks for the Korean people's support and solidarity with the just struggle of the Syrian people.

He said the relations between the two countries are the traditional relations of friendship as they are struggling to accomplish the common cause on the road of independence against imperialism, supporting and cooperating with each other.

He expressed great admiration at the Korean people who are achieving great successes in the drive for building monumental edifices including construction of Ryomyong Street, creating Mallima speed under the leadership of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
