Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Saturday derides this as a disgusting political caricature of the wicked pro-U.S. lackeys who cannot exist even a day without the U.S. backing.

The hectic diplomacy conducted by the puppet regime with the U.S. through which it vociferated about "close cooperation in the campaign against the north" and "strong warning" is nothing but foolhardy burlesque of the confrontational maniacs to do harm to the fellow countrymen in the north with the help of outsiders.

The puppet forces are now making desperate efforts to hold in check the dynamic advance of the DPRK demonstrating its tremendous might while meeting all challenges of history and weathering its trials with the might of self-reliance and self-development. These days they are disclosing their sordid scenario to ratchet up sanctions and pressure on the DPRK in collusion with the U.S. and other outsiders, claiming that the present time marks an "important watershed" in "leading the north to denuclearization and changes."

This is, however, as foolish an act as pricking one's own eyes with one's own hand.

The traitors will have to pay a dearer price for crazily pursuing sycophancy towards the U.S. and dependence on outsiders, remaining utterly indifferent to the destiny of the nation.
