Preserved and displayed there are historic materials and relics which tell the visitors that President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il inspected the post in February Juche 52 (1963) and in March Juche 85 (1996) and put up the slogan "a-match-for-a-hundred," energetically leading the work to develop the whole army into an invincible revolutionary army.

The site has been visited by hundreds of thousands of service personnel and civilians over the past two decades.
