Day of Shining Star to be Celebrated in Indonesia

| Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- An Indonesian preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il, was formed on January 25. Ristiyanto, secretary general of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from January 25 to February 16 and decided to organize diverse political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il in the period. |
