The way for foiling the moves of the U.S. imperialists and their stooges for a nuclear war, ensuring lasting peace on the Korean peninsula and achieving the country's reunification is to bolster up the military capabilities and the nuclear deterrence, the article says, and goes on:

To bolster up the military capabilities for self-defence is the legitimate right of the DPRK.

It is our fixed will to continue to bolster the capabilities for self-defence and preemptive attack with the nuclear force as a core unless the U.S. and its vassal forces stop their nuclear threat and blackmail and war exercises at the doorstep of the DPRK staged under the pretext of annual ones.

Songun Korea is reliably defending the sovereignty and dignity of the country and peace and security in the Korean peninsula, Northeast Asia and the rest of the world. The DPRK emerged the strongest nuclear weapons state despite unprecedented difficulties and hardships and, therefore, it has nothing to be afraid of-- whether it is sanction, pressure or war.

The DPRK will courageously foil any military provocation and threats of the enemies by dint of the single-minded unity of its army and people that can not be found in any other parts of the world and with the nuclear deterrence which it has built up while pushing back the frontiers of the latest science and technology under the banner of the simultaneous development of military and economic sectors.
