Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Czech Republic

| Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- A Czech preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Prague on Jan. 24. Jozef Servista, vice-chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to significantly organize colorful political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il from Jan. 24 to Feb. 20. |
