Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Cambodia

| Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- A Cambodian preparatory committee was formed on January 31 to celebrate the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. On the instructions of King Norodom Sihamoni, Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister for Royal Palace, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and organize various political and cultural events on these occasions. |
