Rodong Sinmun Ridicules Japanese Militarists Obsessed with Overseas Expansion

Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- Japan is accelerating joint research for the new type air-to-air missile for a fighter with Britain for the first time after the cancellation of the measure of banning arms export. Meanwhile, it concluded a military agreement with Britain at which it agreed on mutual support of materials such as ammunition. It already concluded similar agreements with the U.S. and Australia and is stepping up the plan for updating them in line with the security legislation. It is also under negotiations for concluding agreements with Canada and France.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says that Japan is getting more undisguised in reviving militarism.

Japan is no longer a "pacifist state", the commentary says, and goes on:

The Japanese reactionaries who are proud of their economic power and ultra-modern technology are acting recklessly, obsessed with reinvasion hysteria.

The exercise of the "right to collective self-defense" allows them to dispatch their forces to anywhere anytime, being pursuant to the U.S. instruction.

Long ago, they changed their early military strategy in which the operational sphere of the "Self-Defense Forces" was limited to the air and sea of Japan pursuant to their strategy of "exclusive defense".

Under the revised "Japan-U.S. Defence Cooperation Guidelines", the operational sphere of the SDF has expanded to the world.

Under the U.S. positive patronage, the Japanese reactionaries can openly take part in a war for dominating the world, away from a war criminal state.

Japan's moves for reinvasion are inching close to the fire line.

However, the Japanese reactionaries are miscalculating, obsessed with overseas invasion.

They should clearly understand that the final station for their militarist train is the one of self-ruin.
