Foreign Crewmen Meet
Nampho, February 7 (KCNA) -- Foreign crewmen Tuesday met at Nampho Port of the DPRK to celebrate the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

They laid a floral basket before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Nampho City and paid tribute to them.

Speeches were made at the meeting attended by captains and crewmen of Panamanian-flagged ship Kaixiang, Jamaican-flagged ship New Global and a Fijian-flagged ship.

Speakers noted that Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a politico-ideological and military power, a satellite manufacturing and launching state and a nuclear weapons state and led the cause of global independence to victory.

They stressed that he is always alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also the world progressives for his immortal exploits for the country and the people and the times and history.

They said with high appreciation that the DPRK has more strikingly displayed its dignity and strength before the world under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is creditably carrying forward the idea and cause of Kim Jong Il.

They expressed belief that the Korean people would register bigger success in their struggle for national reunification and building of a socialist power.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
