Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Finland

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il, was inaugurated in Helsinki, Finland on January 22. Pekka Kotkasaari, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, and Juha Kieksi, international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League, were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to arrange various political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il. |
