Mangyongdae Prize International Marathon Qualifiers Held in DPRK

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- The 28th Mangyongdae Prize International Marathon Qualifiers was held in different parts of the country, including Pyongyang, Phyongsong, Hamhung and Chongjin. The contest was held, divided into 45 km and 30 km races. Pak Chol from the Sajabong Sports Team and Kim Hye Gyong from the Pyongyang Sports Team won men's and women's 45 km races and male runners from the Amnokgang Sports Team and female runners from the Sobaeksu Sports Team and the sports team of Pyongyang University of Railways 30 km race in Pyongyang. Such races took place in other cities and a number of men and women runners were qualified for the 28th Mangyongdae Prize International Marathon. |
