Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Belgium

| Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- A Belgian preparatory committee was formed in Brussels on Jan. 28 to celebrate the Day of the Shining Star, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il. The chairman and the secretary general of the Belgium-Korea Friendship Association were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of Day of the Shining Star. |
