S. Korean Figures Call for Putting End to Puppet Group's Campaign against "Followers of North"

Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- South Korean figures from all walks of life including the chief of the Kwangju Headquarters of the Confederation of Trade Unions and the chief of the Kwangju branch of the Teachers Union, the chief of the Kwangju Headquarters of the Government Employees' Trade Union and member of the former Unified Progressive Party held a press conference on Feb. 6 outside the former South Jolla Provincial Office at which they declared the action to oust Park Geun Hye, punish her followers and combat evils, according to the south Korean online paper Voice of People.

They said that Park Geun Hye has propped up her regime by branding the political dissident forces as the "group to be eliminated in the society", persecuting them socially, economically and politically and binding them hands and feet.

They stressed the need to reinstate those who fell victim to the Park regime and suffered under it and punish the criminals.
